WWI Imperial Bavarian Ersatz Tropical Pickelhaube

The pickelhaube is covered by four separate panels of khaki cloth with a matching khaki cloth chin strap. The exterior exhibits surface soiling and spots, but the helmet displays a fine shape and it is without holes or damage. The helmet retains both the national colors and the Bavarian cockades, with the Bavarian cockade showing loss of most of the painted finish. The full liner is intact and it is complete with the drawstring. Overall the helmet is in very good condition and it makes an excellent appearance.
