1914 Dated German K98 Bayonet by C.G. Haenel of Suhl

The blade is generally bright while showing spots and scratches. The ricasso bears the maker mark of the firm of C.G. Haenel of Suhl, with the spine bearing a proof mark and the date of “14”. Spine had its saw teeth arsenal removed. The grips are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel display wear to the finish as well as areas of service rust. The scabbard is lacking its painted finish.
