The uniform is comprised of the high quality tropical weight wool tunic and trousers. The left shoulder bears the insignia of the First Armored Division below a “Ranger” tab, with the tab being partially loose. The shoulders display distinctive unit insignia as well as the rank insignia of a full Colonel. On the upper left breast are ribbon bars which include the National Defense Medal as well as ribbons reflecting medals of the United States Air Force. The tailor label within the interior pocket is named to “R.D. Kennedy” and it is dated 1957. The uniform shows some subtle spots, and the trousers have a separation at the center seam of the waistband, but overall the uniform is quite clean and in very good condition.
