Five NSDAP Weekly Quotation Posters
$150.00
The text posters are each approximately 9-1/2 inches by 13-3/4 inches. The posters are part of the series titled “Wochenspruch Der NSDAP” (“Weekly Statement of the NSDAP”). The posters were printed on wartime stock which has toned with age, with the posters being dated in 1940 and 1941. The posters show a few edge chips or tears, but overall they are in very good conditon and the set includes what appears to have been their original envelope. One 1941 poster bears a quote from Nazi Party ideologist Alfred Rosenberg: “It turned out that Bolshevism was and is not a fight for a social idea, but rather the political fight of Judaism of all countries against the national intelligence of all peoples”; a second poster, dated 1940, presents an Adolf Hitler quote: “Neither the German people nor I have sworn to accept the Treaty of Versailles. I am sworn only to the welfare of my people, whose representative I am. Adolf Hitler”; another poster, dated 1940, bears a Hitler quote of “A man is only he who fights and defends himself like a man”; a fourth poster states: “No task is so great, that a GERMAN could not master it!”; and a fifth poster with a Hitler quote reads “Nations are not liberated by doing nothing, but through sacrifice”.
