Presentation WWI British Royal Flying Corps Sweetheart Wing in 10 Karat Gold

The gold and enamel wing is approximately 1-7/8 inches wide, being pin back with a drop in safety catch. The reverse is marked as 10 karat gold and it is engraved “To Verne from Lieut. Harry March 5th 1918”. The wing exhibits fine age toning and superb detail, and it makes a very impressive appearance.
