German Cross in Gold Marked “21” (Godet & Co.)

The German Cross in Gold is six rivet construction with the underside of the pin bearing the LDO code of “21”, reflecting production by the firm of Godet and Company of Berlin. The obverse of the cross exhibits some typical surface wear to the dark burnishing of the cross, with the central disk shows some scratches and minor oxidation. The enamel swastika is without chips or cracks. Overall the decoration is in very good field worn condition and it makes a fine appearance.
