The pennant is double sided, approximately 8-3/4 inches by 14 inches. The pennant is double sided, with a gold Kriegsmarine eagle embroidered on firld gray cloth. The pennant is mounted on a metal wire frame, with a twisted gold cord border on the top and bottom edges. The pennant exhibits age toning, with spots and surface soiling. The pennant is accompanied by the hard celluloid mounting case, which is toned with age and which has splits and breaks, but which retains three of the four closure snaps.
