The blade is generally bright, showing some spots and scratches. The leather washer remains in place at the top of the blade. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. Both the guard and the pommel show an uncleaned patina as well as speckling and wear to the finish, particularly to the pommel. The leather frog is somewhat dry and it shows flaking, but it is complete and intact. The scabbard surfaces show wear to the paint and surface rust.
