WWII U.S. Army 9th Infantry Division 47th Infantry Regiment Captain’s Tunic

The belted, four pocket officer tunic has numbered “47” infantry regiment collar insignia. On the left shoulder is the patch of the 9th Infantry Division, while the lower left sleeve cuff bears four overseas service chevrons. Above the upper left pocket is a stamped and painted clutch back Combat Infantry Badge, and below this is a three place pin back ribbon bar with the ribbons for the European Campaign Medal with three campaign stars; the American Campaign Medal; and the World War II Victory Medal. Above the upper right pocket is the ribbon of the Presidential Unit Citation with two oak leaf clusters. The tunic shows some “pulls” to the ribbed fabric, but the tunic is without holes, damage or repairs. Overall very good used condition.
