1938 Dated Luftwaffe EM/NCO Visor Cap by Erel Marked to Fallschirmjager Regiment 1

The visor cap is constructed of quality blue gray wool which is piped in golden yellow to reflect the flight branch or service as a paratrooper. The surface of the visor shows only minor scratches. The full leather sweatband is present on the interior, showing wear but being complete and intact. The full celluloid sweat shield is present and intact, with the sweat shield being maker marked by Robert Lubstein of Berlin and bearing as well the firm’s brand name of “Erel” and the designation of “Sonderklass” (“Special Class”). The interior liner bears the unit stamps of Fallschirmjager Regiment 1. The visor cap exhibits a superb saddle shape and it makes an excellent appearance.
