The badge is zinc alloy composition, multi piece riveted construction, and maker marked “JFS”, reflecting production by the firm of Josef Feix & Sohn. At some point in its life the tank component was removed from the badge and the gilt finish was reapplied to the wreath. The gilt shows wear and age toning. The badge exhibits fine detail and it is in overall very good condition.
