HJ Dagger RZM M7/36 (E. & F. Hörster)

The blade is rather bright, while showing spots, sharpening scratches, and minor dark staining. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. The ricasso bears the RZM code of M7/36, reflecting production by the firm of E. & F. Hörster. The black Bakelite grips are without chips or cracks. The enamel Hitler Youth diamond which is set into the grip is similarly without damage to the enamel. The guard and the pommel reflect an uncleaned patina, with some typical wear to the plated surfaces on the pommel where the leather grip strap was in contact with the pommel. The black paint on the scabbard has some relatively minimal loss of paint in spots as well as scratches. The leather hanger and the grip strap show age and wear, but they are intact.
