WWII Front Seam Swivel Bale M1 Combat Helmet

The exterior cork infused olive drab combat paint is largely intact, while showing the typical scuffs, spots, and abrasions from use in the theater of operations. The helmet’s web chin strap is in place across the rear of the helmet, with the chin strap showing use and with some edge wear but being complete and intact. The helmet liner is a Firestone example, having a crack on the front and with a faint name written on the interior webbing. The interior of the helmet shell shows some surface rust, while the exterior of the liner had some light powdery rust stains from being in contact with the steel helmet. Overall the helmet is in very good field used condition.
