Two Volume German Cigarette Card Album: “Der Zweite Weltkrieg im Bild” (“The Second World War in Pictures”)

Card covers, published circa the early 1950’s. Approximately 9 inches by 12-1/4 inches. The pages are unnumbered. The set is comprised of two volumes, with Volume I titled “Von Nurnberg bis Stalingrad” (“From Nuremberg to Stalingrad”), while Volume II is titled “Von Stalingrad bis Nurnberg” (“From Stalingrad to Nuremberg”). The two volumes are complete and include hundreds of photographs that cover the history of the Second World War from the pre-war period to Nazi Germany’s surrender. The cover edges show a bit of wear, but overall both volumes are in excellent condition.
