The sword has an overall length of approximately 38 inches, with a blade length of approximately 31 inches. The blade is dark, with some surface rust. The blade has geometric ornamentation on both sides from the ricasso down a length of five inches. The pierced guard, the ferrule, the knuckle bow and the pommel all show a dark and uncleaned patina. The grip remains tightly wrapped in wire.
