The badge has a fine toned finish on the wreath, with intact burnishing on the eagle, showing some wear of the finish on the surfaces of the swastika. The reverse shows spots and verdigris. The eagle is secured by rivets which are tight and intact. The center of the reverse eagle bears the manufacturer mark of the Assmann firm. Overall the badge shows excellent detail and it is in very good condition, showing great character.
