The medals bar carries the British King George VI Pakistan Medal, recognizing service during the period just before and after the creation of the independent Dominion of Pakistan on 14 August 1947. Most recipients were members of the armed forces of Pakistan, including attached British personnel, and this medal is numbered and named to “2202420 Spr. Mohd. Sharif R.P.E.; also on the bar is the 1956 medal marking the establishment of the Pakistan Republic; and the 1939-1945 British War Medal. The ribbons show soiling and wear.
