Meiji Era Russo-Japanese War Army Artillery EM/NCO Visor Cap

The black wool “pillbox” style cap has a yellow wool cap band and yellow piping to reflect service in the army artillery branch. The surface of the black leather visor has typical age crazing. Both the body of the cap and the cap band exhibit moth holes and tracking as well as age soiling. The leather chin strap is intact, as is the interior leather sweatband and the red silk lining.
