The M1 helmet liner is a WWII CAPAC example. The front displays the painted insignia of the Third Army, while each side bears the painted insignia of the XII Corps. The exterior gloss finish olive green paint shows only very minor signs of wear and age. The interior liner webbing is intact, as is the chin strap. Overall excellent condition.
