WWII Japanese Army Officer Wool Field Cap

The cap is constructed of a high quality ribbed olive green wool. The front peak carried the embroidered gold Imperial Army star. The leather chin strap across the front visor is secured with gilt officer cherry blossom buttons. The full interior leather sweatband is present and the brown silken lining is intact. The field cap is in very clean condition, and while the cap shows signs of wear and use, it is without holes or damage and it makes an excellent appearance.
