The WWII / Post WWII helmet retains approximately 65 percent of the exterior blue paint, with the helmet showing paint loss and rust. The metal police sun is affixed to the front of the helmet. The full leather liner is present on the interior of the helmet, with an intact fabric chin cord. The appears to be a kanji notation, written in green, on one of the liner pads. There is also a kanji notation written on the interior of the helmet itself. The leather liner band is seperated on the rear seam and shows wear at the retaining pins.
