WWII Japanese Army EM/NCO Wool Field Cap

The olive brown wool cap carries the cloth Imperial Army star on the front peak. The cap retains the full interior leather sweatband and burlap style fabric lining. The interior of the cap exhibits signs of use, with spots and perspiration stains, and the exterior has spots as well reflecting use in the field, but overall the cap is clean. The cap is a later war example in which the three ventilation holes on each side of the crown were not fitted with metal grommets. The cap is without holes, damage or repairs and it exhibits great character as a field worn cap.
