The sash of the Brand Cross of the German Eagle Order is in excellent condition, showing a few spots and minor soiling, but it is in excellent condition. The sash badge is a superb example, with a fine age patina to the gilt and with the white enamel being without chips or cracks. The enamel cross is mounted with crossed swords, reflecting that the Grand Cross sash was awarded to a very senior and noteworthy foreign military officer. The suspension ring of the sash badge is marked “900”. Overall a superb example of the Grand Cross sash with badge of the German Eagle Order.
