WWII Japanese Officer’s Pith Helmet

The pith helmet is covered in a khaki covered cloth, which shows some spots, surface soiling, age toning from age and exposure to the sun. The leather chin strap is in place across the front of the visor. The full leather sweatband is in place on the interior. The leather sweatband is marked “Corona” and “Kakumatsuya Osaka”. A paper maker label is retained in the crown that bears the name of “Helmet Place & Co.”. The interior shows signs of wear and use. Overall very good field used condition.
