The exterior field gray paint is largely intact, showing some typical scratches and scuffs. The three leather liner pads are present on the interior, with the “tongue” of one of the pads torn off and the other being torn at the tip. The interior side of the helmet is marked “ET 64”, indicating a size 64 helmet that was manufactured by the firm of Eisenhuettenwerke in Thale. Overall the helmet is in very good field used condition.
