WWII German Gas Mask in Carrying Canister

The gas mask is complete with all wearing and attachment straps. The faintly tinted lenses are only slightly cloudy from age. The rubber face mask remains pliable. The lens compartment on the interior of the lid bears a penciled date of “August  8, 1945”, with extra lenses inside of the compartment. The gas mask shows scuffs and indentations to the filtration section. The carrying canister exhibits typical scuffs to the exterior paint. Overall very good condition.
