Named Imperial German 115th (1st Grand Ducal Hessian) Lifeguard Infantry Reservist Stein

The half liter porcelain stein has an overall height of approximately 11 inches tall, inclusive of the lid finial. The stein is named to “Gefreiter Eis”, who served with the unit from 1901 to 1903. The rear of the stein has a unit roster, which is somewhat faded, as is some of the unit designation wording on the front base. The base of the stein has a lithopane scene. The stein is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks but the lid is a bit loose.
