WWII Japanese Army Pilot’s Uniform Tunic

The tunic is tailored from a high quality wool, with an interior clothier’s label. The tunic has small scattered holes and a 1/2 inch hole on the collar, none of which are distracting. On the upper left breast are thread loops for the wear of a medal bar or ribbon set. On the collar are the rank tabs of a Major of the Japanese Army. On the upper right breast is a color branch of service chevron and, above this, the tunic has a hand embroidered army pilot wing. The full lining is intact, and overall the tunic is in very good condition.
