WWII Rear Seam Swivel Bale M1 Combat Helmet

The exterior of the helmet retains an essentially intact cork infused olive drab finish, showing relatively minor spots and scuffs from wear in the field. The front interior of the helmet shell bears a heat stamp of “4851”. The full web chin strap remains on the helmet, secured across the back of the shell. The liner is a Westinghouse example which also retains virtually intact exterior paint. The liner is lacking the chin strap. Overall excellent lightly used condition.
