Signed Japanese Katana in Civilian Mounts with Leather Combat Scabbard Cover

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39 inches, with a blade length of approximately 26 inches. The blade is quite bright, showing some scratches as well as surface grime, but making an excellent appearance and with a visible and distinct temper line. The tang of the sword is signed “Kane Toshi”. The ray skin covered grip is wrapped in the traditional fashion with deep green fabric. Each side of the grip has a dark menuki, The tsuba guard is the solid style, with the sword having a plain brass ferrule and pommel. The scabbard is within a leather combat cover which shows typical scuffs and signs of use in the field, but it is complete and intact.
