The framed document is approximately 7-5/8 inches by 9-1/8 inches. Dated April 22, 1941, the document states “In der Anlage erhalten Sie die Austrittserklarubg der Anna Karbach in zweifacher Ausfertigung zuruck. Senden bitte eine davon an den Gau, die zeite verbleibt in Ihrer Ortsgruppe” (“You will receive Anna Karbach’s declaration of resignation in duplicate attached. Please send one of them to the Gau, the second remains in your local group”). The document shows fold lines and age toning. The enamel badge shows toning and wear of the silvering but the enamel is without chips or cracks and overall it is in very good condition.
