Luftwaffe Officer Dagger by Carl Eickhorn with Hangers and Portepee

The dagger blade is generally quite bright, with some spots and surface grime, but with visible crossgrain and making a very good appearance. The celluloid grip is dark orange in color and it remains tightly wrapped in twisted wire. The pommel and the guard exhibit uncleaned patina and oxidation, with the pommel swastikas retaining approximately 50 percent of the gilt finish on each side. The scabbard shows an even and dark gray cast, with some spots of verdigris and corrosion on one side. The silver portepee shows use, with spots of wear to the cord and stem. The hangers exhibit wear, with some fraying of the edges, but the hangers are complete and intact. Overall the set is in very good condition.
