WWII Japanese Navy Recruiting Poster

Approximately 19-1/2 inches by 27-3/4 inches. The poster bears the title of “Navy Volunteer Recruitment”, with the issuing authority being stated as the “Ministry of the Navy”. The poster lists various available navy occupations, to include “Sailor”; “Flight Mechanic”; “Engineer”; “Machinist”; “Medical”; “Musician”; and “Aviation”. The poster was printed with spaces for the insertion of separate labels that would have provided information about the dates and locations for physical examinations. The poster shows typical fold lines as well as a few small holes at the intersections of fold lines, but the poster displays bright colors and it makes a very good appearance.
