“Attic Found” WWI Imperial Bavarian Officer Pickelhaube

The leather pickelhaube exhibits age crazing and surface grime. The rear visor has a cut at the lower edge. The Bavarian wappen front plate, and the brass components of the helmet all show a dark and uncleaned patina. The helmet lacks the side rosettes and the chin strap. The interior wide leather sweatband, as well as the interior silk lining, show tears. Overall the helmet is in “attic found” condition.
