Award Documents for the 1939 Iron Cross Second Class and Black Wound Badge with a Signature of a Knights Cross and Oak Leaves Recipient

$175.00

The group is comprised of the award document for the 1939 Iron Cross Second Class to Gefreiten Otto-Erich Schmolling of the 123rd Infantry Regiment of the 50th Infantry Division, awarded on 9 September of 1941, as well as the award document for his Wound Badge in black, which was awarded on 16 September at a military hospital in Purkersdorf in Austria. The award document for the Iron Cross was signed by the Division Commander, Generaloberst Karl Adolf Hollidt, a recipient of the Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves. Both documents show age toning, while the award document for the wound badge has fold lines. Overall very good condition.
