$650.00

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39 inches, with a blade length of approximately 33 inches. The blade is generally clean and bright, with some spots of plating loss. The blade is triple etched, with a unit designation on one side, patriotic motifs and wording on the opposite side, and with etched designs on the spine as well. The ricasso has the back to back squirrels trademark used by the Eickhorn firm prior to 1921. The celluloid grip is without chips or cracks. The sword has a  pierced folding guard which displays the Wurttemberg crest. The guard and knuckle bow have an uncleaned patina, with some loss of plating on the top of the pommel screw. The portepee has spots and signs of age but it is without damage. The black scabard paint is generally intact, showing some spots and minor chips. Overall very good condition.
