WWII Japanese Navy Officer Sword Belt

The belt is approximately 33 inches in length in its present configuration, capable of being shortened by several inches. The black leather belt is slightly stiff, showing typical age crazing and cracks, but the belt is intact and complete with its sword hanging straps. The two piece gilt buckle exhibits some patina. There is written kanji on the reverse side of the belt at one end. Overall very good condition.
