Signed Portrait Photo Postcard of Generaloberst Ernst Udet

The postcard is signed “Udet” in ink. Luftwaffe Generaloberst Ernst Udet flew with Von Richthofen’s “Flying Circus” in World War I, achieved 62 confirmed aerial victories, and was decorated with the Pour le Merite. During the Third Reich Udet received decorations which included the Pilot Observer badge with diamonds and the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross. He committed suicide in 1941 and was buried next to Manfred Von Richthofen in Berlin.
