Named 1938 German Army Artillery Regiment Service Stein

The half liter pottery stein is approximately 5-1/2 inches tall, exclusive of the thumb lift. The stein is named to Fahrer M. Maurus of Artillery Regiment 33, who served from December 10, 1936, until October 25, 1938, based on the dates which are engraved on the lid. The lid has the relief design of a Model 1916 combat helmet with Third Reich army eagle insignia. Overall the stein is in near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
