WWII Japanese Army Pilot Leather Cold Weather Flight Helmet

The exterior of the brown leather flight helmet shows typical signs of age and use, but the leather remains pliable and, while it shows expected scuffs from use, it is intact and without damage. The leather Imperial Army star insignia remains on the front of the helmet. The front chin strap and the rear adjustment strap are present and intact. The interior shows some wear to the fur lining, with typical loss of some fur to the interior front and on the left side section. Overall the flight helmet is in very good condition.
