WWII Named Japanese Entrenching Tool with Cover

The entrenching tool is approximately 29 inches long. The blade of the shovel and the collar show some surface rust. The shovel retains the canvas cover, which is intact with its fabric cover bearing all straps. The cover has stitched kanji on it reading “Akinai”. The wood grip shows stains and spots from use in the field, but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
