The reddish brown leather flight helmet shows scuffs, spots, soiling, and signs of use, but it is complete and intact, without holes or damage, and the leather remains supple. The interior of the helmet is lined in cotton and it shows use, but the interior is complete and intact. The interior sides of the hard leather earpieces show impressed kanji, which includes the date of “Showa 19”, or “1944”. Overall very good condition.
