Italian Model 1938 Carcano Bayonet

The bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 12 inches, with a blade length of approximately 6-3/4 inches. The blade shows dirt, verdigris, and some spots of surface rust. The guard and pommel similarly show surface rust. The wood grip plates exhibit expected age, and one plate has a very old period chip at the top edge, but the grip plates are intact, secured by two rivets. The scabbard retains most of its blued finish, showing some typical scratches and surface rust.
