Named WWII U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander Aviator’s Green Uniform

The uniform is comprised of the tunic and the matching trousers. The interior pocket tailor tag presents a stated size of 40 Regular. The sleeves carry the rank insignia of a Lieutenant Commander. Written on one of the interior linings of a trouser pocket is the name “J. Brecka”. On the upper left breast is a two place clutch back ribbon bar with the ribbons for the American Campaign Medal and the Pacific Campaign Medal with two campaign stars. Above the ribbon bar is a full size pin back Navy aviator wing that on the reverse is marked “Sterling” and “LGB”, reflecting production by the L.G. Balfour Company. The wing shows uncleaned patina. The tunic is quite clean and without holes or damage. The trousers have a small hole at the exterior base of the fly, but otherwise they are also in very good condition. Overall the uniform is in excellent condition.
