The metal body of the helmet and the mortarboard retain an intact finish, showing only minor signs of age. The front of the helmet displays a brass Prussian wappen plate. The helmet lacks the cockades, while the leather chin strap is a reproduction. The interior leather liner shows use and wear, but it is intact, lacking the drawstring. The interior bears a size stamp of “53”. Overall very good condition.
