K98 Dress Bayonet by Gustav Spitzer

The blade is very bright, showing typical spots, scratches, and surface grime. The ricasso bears the maker mark of the firm of Gustav Spitzer. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel exhibit uncleaned patina and some wear to the plating, primarily where the leather strap of a frog was wrapped around the pommel. The black scabbard paint is largely intact, showing the usual scratches and scuffs.
