The canteen shows spots, stains and wear on the cover and on the shoulder strap. The cover bears handwritten numbers. The cap is present, as is the cap retention chain, although the loop on the chain that attaches to the top of the cap has come loose from the cap. Overall the canteen is in very good field used condition.
