WWII Japanese Navy Canteen With Kanji

The canteen shows typical spots and stains to the canvas cover. The cover bears handwritten kanji characters. One of the two laces which secures the cover on one side is broken, but the remnant remains in the holes. The canteen cup is present, although the cup retention chain is missing. The fabric shoulder strap exhibits wear and a bit of edge fraying. Overall good field used condition.
