Named Decorated Boer War Veteran Royal Artillery Major’s Dress Patrol Jacket

The blue wool jacket bears the rank insignia of a Major on the shoulders. On the upper left breast are sewn to ribbons for the Distinguished Service Order (Britain’s second highest award for valor); the King George V Coronation Medal; and the Queen’s South Africa Medal. The jacket has five domed Royal Artillery buttons. The interior of the jacket has a cloth label bearing a handwritten name. The jacket is fully lined, with the lining showing minor signs of actual wear. Overall the jacket is very clean and it makes a excellent appearance.
