Cased and Named WWII ETO Paratrooper Bronze Star and Purple Heart Medal Group

Both decorations are slot brooch suspension and both are named to “Lester Burgess”. The cased Bronze Star includes the ribbon bar and the enamel lapel badge. The cased Purple Heart includes the ribbon bar and an extra length of ribbon. Both decorations are in very good condition, as are the titled black leather cases. The medals are accompanied by a several pages of research which include a photocopy of a newspaper clipping which identified Burgess as a paratrooper in Italy.
